My Story

I'm the Founder of Coaching For Collective Impact and creator of the CPR Leadership Alignment Model, a proprietary framework that understands effective leadership as the alignment of Character, Purpose and Responsibility.

My work sits at the intersection of leadership development, reflective practice and AI-supported leadership technology.

I partner with emerging and established leaders navigating growth, responsibility, transition and increasing complexity, particularly those seeking to lead with greater clarity, integrity and coherence rather than being shaped primarily by pressure, urgency or short-term performance demands.

Alongside leadership coaching and organisational development work, I created CPR Reflect, an AI-supported leadership reflection platform grounded in the CPR Leadership Alignment Model. CPR Reflect is designed to support structured reflection, ethical discernment and leadership development through guided questioning and reflective self-assessment.

My interest in AI-supported leadership tools is grounded in earlier experience, not a recent pivot. Before moving into full-time coaching, I founded a B2B SaaS venture exploring the use of cognitive and machine-learning technologies to support data-driven decision-making, and the company was accepted onto the IBM Global Entrepreneur Programme, receiving technical and business support from IBM specialists. That grounding in applied AI technology continues to shape how I approach CPR Reflect today, combining structured, technology-supported reflection with the human-centred practice at the core of my coaching work.

My work supports leaders to:

  • Clarify purpose and direction
  • Strengthen character and self-awareness
  • Navigate ethical complexity
  • Make values-aligned decisions
  • Lead with greater responsibility and coherence

A significant part of this experience includes several years delivering full-time coaching programmes within the Church of England, supporting individuals navigating complex life transitions, including resettlement following custody, recovery from addiction, mental health challenges and homelessness. This work involved one-to-one coaching, group-based interventions and partnership working with charities, statutory services and community organisations, delivered within regulated environments requiring strong ethical practice and safeguarding awareness. As part of this role, I also engaged with individuals during custody through regular prison visits, supporting continuity of coaching relationships and preparation for resettlement following release, an experience that deepened my understanding of accountability, responsibility and sustainable change under pressure.

For more than 25 years, I have worked across business, coaching, non-profit and faith-informed environments, including senior commercial roles, organisational leadership and programme delivery within regulated settings. Over time, my professional focus has centred increasingly on leadership formation, ethical discernment and the integration of personal values with professional responsibility.

I believe sustainable leadership begins with alignment between character, purpose and responsibility. Coaching, reflection and technology are tools that support leaders in developing the discernment and responsibility that lasting impact tends to require.

I am particularly drawn to supporting:

  • Leaders navigating increased responsibility or organisational change
  • Founders and mission-driven organisations
  • Faith-informed professionals seeking to integrate values thoughtfully into leadership
  • Leaders seeking clarity, coherence and long-term impact
  • Organisations seeking healthier and more responsible leadership cultures

Professional Practice and Community Commitment

I primarily work with fee-paying clients, whilst reserving a portion of my capacity to support local charities, social enterprises and community initiatives as an expression of service and responsible practice.

Coaching Philosophy

I work from the conviction that each person carries inherent worth and capacity. My role as a coach is not to direct or prescribe, but to create a reflective, supportive and appropriately challenging space in which clients can explore, examine and move forward with greater clarity.

Drawing on professional coaching methodologies and, where chosen by the client, integration of personal values or faith perspectives, I support clients in aligning their inner convictions with their outward leadership practice.
